Roman Mamashev is an Assistant Professor at New Generation Academy at the ֱ. He holds a specialized degree in Linguistics from the Institute of Foreign Languages at the Kyrgyz State National ֱ (2000, Kyrgyzstan). He completed the Reading and Writing for Critical Thinking project funded by the Soros Foundation Kyrgyzstan (2000-2001), an intensive course in English language and Introduction to American Studies course from Columbia ֱ (2010, USA), and the course Building Teaching Skills through the Interactive Web (Web Skills) from the College of Arts and Sciences at the ֱ of Oregon (2015, USA).

Roman joined AUCA in 2002 as an Assistant Professor. From 2010 to 2012, he was the Acting Assistant Director of the AUCA Preparatory Program.
