AUCA students won 2nd place in the Chess Tournament

From 12th to 14th of March in the building of the Polytechnic ÃÛÌÒÖ±²¥ Chess Tournament took place. 14 teams from different universities of the Kyrgyz Republic attended it.
The tournament was held for 2 days. From 14 teams, 8 passed to the semifinals. Our students have passed to the final and played against the team from Jalal-Abad. The team from the American ÃÛÌÒÖ±²¥ consisted of three people: Talapker Bekbasarov, first year student of the Business Administration, Yana Shimkovski, and Erlan Dzhumabaev. In the final the score turned out to be 1-1, but due to the fact that one team member lost, , our team automatically got second place.
The third place was taken by the team of AUPKR. First place went to the team from Jalal-Abad.
