The British agency Quacquarelli Simmons British agency Quacquarelli Symonds (QS)Ìýhas published, which includes more than 1,500 of the best universities in the world. For the second year in a row, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) topped the ranking. The top ten also includes Imperial College London, Stanford ÃÛÌÒÖ±²¥, Oxford ÃÛÌÒÖ±²¥, Harvard ÃÛÌÒÖ±²¥, Cambridge ÃÛÌÒÖ±²¥, the Swiss Higher Technical School of Zurich (ETH Zurich), the National ÃÛÌÒÖ±²¥ of Singapore (NUS), the ÃÛÌÒÖ±²¥ of North London and the California Institute of Technology (Caltech).
was recognized by the QS agency as the best university in Kyrgyzstan. The rating also includes four more universities from Kyrgyzstan:ÌýKyrgyz-Turkish ÃÛÌÒÖ±²¥ "Manas", Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic ÃÛÌÒÖ±²¥ named after B. N. Yeltsin, Kyrgyz National ÃÛÌÒÖ±²¥ named after Zhusup Balasagyn and Kyrgyz State Technical ÃÛÌÒÖ±²¥ named after I. Razzakov.
A special methodology is used to compile the rating, which evaluates various aspects of university activities: academic reputation, teaching staff, international reputation, graduate employment, and so on.
